2009 in Retrospect

On the final day of the year, it’s a great moment to look back and see what we have achieved over the past twelve months. 2009 has been a very good year for Triangle Studios. Two of the most remarkable events were the establishment of Triangle Works, the new software development studio for all things related to the internet. Secondly, the launch of Triangle’s first independently published title; Heron: Steam Machine.
Besides that, a LOT of new games were published in the past year. In total 7 new DS titles were released in Europe, and 2 more in the US! Add to those the development of several iPhone and Flash games and you’ll clearly see that we’ve been very busy indeed.
There will be some very cool things in 2010 of course, we’ll start the year with a bang, launching Heron in the US on January 4th. We’ve also started development on our next big title for Playstation 3 and will be developing more cool games for DS and iPhone. In short, there are a lot of reasons to keep track of Triangle Studios in the following year. Have a great New Year’s Eve, and see you in 2010!
